Electric base board or Boilers often cannot have air conditioning or need to add ductwork to be able to have it. Not every house can. It has an outside condensing unit and a "line set" for the coolant to pass through that goes through the wall, attaching directly to a wall or ceiling mounted unit inside the house up and out of the way.
